New Girl First Day || Calleigh

Calleigh looks up and she heads into MDPD and she gets in and hands the front desk  her resume... : I am looking for Lt Horatio Caine and she eyes her ...Polly calls Horatio and says...Have your 8:00 here sir. she says...OK Ms...Duquesne... is it? Cal nods...Polly looks. You can sit right over there and Lt. Caine will be right with you....

Calleigh is nervous.... Does he hire her? Horatio and Cal knew each other from the past...How does this play out? It did not end on good terms as he used to teach Academy...Is he ready to take on this girl he so has a crush...on? You ...can decide.

Horatio was surprised to see Calleigh had put in an application to the MDPD. Question was, would he be able to work with her being they knew each other from before? Only time would tell. He decided to give her a call. "Calleigh Duquesne? This is Horatio Caine from the MDPD. I was wondering if u could come by and see me in my office to discuss your application." he said.

Calleigh nods...yes sir...I would like to come in. What tikme? she asks... as she holds her tea cup to her lips sipping her tea little by little with her cell in hand. Looking at her watch... buttering her toast... any time in mind...? Lt. Caine?

"12:30 pm." H said.

She nods..you got it...Lt. caine. Smiling as they have been dating for a while...all this Lt caine stuff.

"I'll see u then." H said.

She nods...allright Lt. Caine....

Next day...Calleigh walks in...and Polly walks to Horatio's office: Sir...your new CSI is here .. smiling opening the door for Cal to walk in... Cal smiles... Hello Lt. Caine...when she is all formality.

H smiled. "Thanks, Polly. Calleigh Duquesne please take a seat. Let's get started with the interview." he said.

Calleigh sits down... she knows Horatio they are actually dating outside the office.... but noone knows...and Cal sits being professional as possible. Yes...sir. putting her purse on her lap and hands him the application and resume and police check

H was impressed with Cal's resume. "Very impressive. Now tell me why u wanna work here." he said.

Calleigh looks at him. well I want to work here because it is the most High Class facility in all of Miami. I am at the top of my class when it comes to bullets, I know my guns...and I know I can be a great help here...Lt. I am very good at working with groups , people and I am a good listener....

H sees bruises on her neck and her arms. Cal looks : yes? as she hands him her test scores.

H took a closer look at Cal's knees. "How did u get those bruises on your knees?" he asked.

She looks: Um...I fell on them...as H has seen abuse cases before. Ken Duquesne got too drunk and did a serious Beating on her. Horatio is very familiar with Kenwald ...a most prominant lawyer in Miami...But a drunk to beat too. And Cal looks at him...her neck is black and blue but with a turtleneck...it wouldn't be seen much She looks at him.... really it's okay.... as he closes the door... Horatio means business...He may be her boss but also her signifigant other ... (not living with him yet here. she lives with Daddy) She winces a wee bit. He eyes her... Cal: really ...I...

H wasn't buying her story. "Come on Cal. We both know that's not what really happened." he said.
